FAQ

Can you rush ship my order?

If you need a rush order, please call us for a quote. We can ship 2-day mail or overnight.

We typically ship via priority mail or UPS.  Your order should arrive within 7-10 days.  If you believe your order is lost or the tracking number has not moved, please contact us ASAP.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes.  However, specific items (due to weight / shipping restrictions, etc.) may not be available for international shipping.

Can I buy from you on ebay?

Click here for our eBay seller’s page.

We also produce exclusive show / event specific merchandise, so please check us out at your local reenactment.

Can I pay by money order / paypal / check?

Please download our order form.   Personal checks will be held for a minimum of 10 days before shipment.

Where do you find your items?

It’s a military secret.  Seriously, we import items from all over the world.  We’re continually buying originals and looking for ways to make more accurate reproductions.

Is this ok for reenacting?

All of our items sold online are appropriate for reenacting, unless otherwise noted.  Of course, nothing is as good as the real thing.  If you have a question about the authenticity of an item for your unit, we recommend you consult your C.O.

Can I buy Keep ‘Em Flying Soda online?

Sorry.  We can not ship soda safely without it breaking. However, at most shows,  we do have 6 packs that you can take home.  We can, however, supply Keep ‘Em Flying Soda to your event. Please contact us for more details.

Can I buy WWII era candy online?

Like our Keep ‘Em Flying Soda, our WWII era candy is currently exclusive to our traveling WWII PX.

Do you make custom t-shirts?

Yes, we can. Please see our custom information.

Can I get custom shirts for my unit?

Please contact us by phone or email for large unit orders.

Which T-shirt did my unit wear?

Because shirts were based on training camps, it’s sometimes hard to know if your specific unit wore one of our shirts.   My best advice it to look up your unit on wikipedia and see where they trained.  Remember that WWII era sweatshirts and t-shirts would have been worn after the war, used as car rags, and are quite rare.

How do I age my shirt?

Many reenactors want authentic looking “worn” shirts.  Tea dying is a popular method.  I personally have found, though, that wearing your t-shirts while setting up, reenacting, and tearing down camp usually will do the same trick.

Why don’t you have the Airborne shirt that’s in Band of Brothers?

The 101st ABN shirt that appears in band of brothers was copyrighted by a museum.   That museum will not allow us to produce the shirt in any manner, nor can we pay a fee to use the artwork on a more accurate WWII style t-shirt.  Sorry, we’ve tried. Currently all proceeds of the sale of that shirt benefit that WWII museum.

Is this safe to eat / use / consume?

We pride ourselves in creating useable WWII reproductions.  However, because they are accurate reproductions, they are missing modern use, care, and warning labels, and must be sold as display only.  Under no circumstances should any vintage WWII era items be consumed.

Do you have wholesale / bulk pricing?

Many of our t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other exclusive items are available for sale to museums at bulk / wholesale prices. Please contact us for more details.

Will you appear at our WWII Reenactment?

We appear at many WWII reenactments and air shows in the Mid-Atlantic area (PA, MD, NJ, NY, DC, VA). Please check our Facebook page, The WWII Soldier, for our schedule. We occasionally travel to large events up and down the East Coast as well as the Midwest.  If you are an Event Coordinator and are interested in us attending your WWII event, please contact us.  We cannot guarantee that we will attend your event.

Will you buy my WWII items?

Yes, we buy original wwii militaria and army surplus items to resell.   In addition we often acquire originals for our collection to make reproductions.  Please call or email us with photos for more information.  We’re most interested in unique personal items and original WWII t-shirts.

Where can I donate my WWII items?

We are collecting militaria for a musuem, and are glad to take your unwanted WWII items. However, if you are looking to donate a family members uniform for immediate display, we recommend that you check with your local historical society.

Do you have a store?

Our store is a 16 by 16 tent that travels. Please contact us if you would like our period WWII PX store to visit your event.  Our long term plan is to purchase a building to create a WWII Museum and PX store.

Do you accept returns?

We will gladly accept your returns within 30 days of your order on unused merchandise. We will also accept returns on unworn and unwashed t-shirts for size exchange. Please call or email us prior to sending items back.
