Description
German suspenders during World War II were usually made of elastic, cotton and metal front fasteners. There were gray green on the outside and white on the reverse with reinforcements and eyelets in the natural leather or dyed cream. There were many variations of this basic design as per the “Deutsche Soldaten – Uniforms, Equipment & Personal Items of the German Soldier 1939-45” as found on page 42.
These Suspenders are post war surplus and indistinguishable from the German WWII Style.
