This WWI Blank Cartridge Box is a reproduction of 1909 spec .30 caliber blanks of the smokeless powder variety. The 30 06 ammo box is empty. It’s sealed with a label and can be sliced open for use.
This is the correct box for standard 30-06 blank round for the Springfield rifle. Blank rounds were used for a variety of training purposes.
