Description
This reproduction of the US Army M2 Paratrooper Knife has a button release of the blade, which allows it to pop out about an inch. Then, you use both hands to fully open the knife.
Original M2 Paratrooper Knives were designed to be a switchblade style, allowing airborne troops to cut themselves free from an entangled parachute cord after landing.
The blade lock functions as it should, locking the blade when either open or closed. BUT, when carrying your knife in your pocket, you should ALWAYS have the safety lock engaged. All it takes is a little bump of the button and the knife will pop open.
